The cocking mechanism allows for three selection positions:
Fully locked: the user can walk around freely with the weapon in place
Locked: the weapon is in a locked position but is ready and easily accessible for unlocking and drawing in a simple flow oriented move.
Fully unlocked: the weapon is held in place, allowing for a willful draw while still impeding a forward accidental release.
